Soooo...I don't really know how to say this...but I sort of spent all morning crudely photoshopping Alex and Maya Angelou's photos together in a piece of work I call, "A Friendship Out of This World," instead of writing today's blog.
Then Boss #2 (aka the Boss who hates me almost as much as I hate her,) showed up and is taking me on a car ride. I know no other details about it. She just said, "We're going on a car ride." If I wind up raped and dead in a ditch tomorrow, I want you to remember me for this:
More tomorrow! (God willing)

If you're murdered I'll avenge your death as best I can during one hour lunch breaks...
I have spent the last seven hours at work reading 2birds1blog’s 2008 collection in its entirety. I have to say that it has kept my under-stimulated mind from shutting down to a state indecipherable from comatose. Kudos to your originality and matter-of-fact speaking, as it is a breath of fresh air to this reader, and I look forward to “waking up” from the mundane life of an accountant once a day.
You sir, are welcome.
I wish my face were made of money...
holy cow it's all over CNN that there was a wreck on the DC metro. and all i can think is "2B1B rides the metro and listens to The Chronic! I hope she's okay!"
I hope you're okay!! Ominous!
I sure hope you are back tomorrow! your blog is the highlight of my day!
Ha...yeah. I don't know about you, but I've gotten a TON of texts/calls from out-of-town family about whether or not I was in/around/near the train wreck.
I was, in fact, not involved in the train wreck.
So sad though. :(
You are sooo the inspiration for me! Random shit that everyone is thinking or doing. I love it!
Gilly is my personal hero.
Yyyyeaaa...in retrospect, talking about dying in a ditch after leaving work yesterday seems slightly inappropriate. I'm fine though! Thank you for your concern. Here's hoping you and yours are fine as well. xo.
what happened? WHAT HAPPENED???
What happened with my boss or what happened with the metro?
Both answers:
Re: w/ Boss- We awkwardly drove around NW DC updating literature binders at various design firms. It was awkward. I wanted to crawl out of my skin. But I lived.

The company says if you opt in, pressure readings will be periodically submitted to Dark Sky to help in creating even more accurate weather forecasts. Prior to this, Dark Sky relied heavily on what it says are "government run" weather stations as well as user-provided details.
